Run For April 5k Run/Walk
A benefit for April Von Maxey
Recently April Von Maxey a beloved teacher and coach contracted a severe form of pneumonia and complications have set in. She was airlifted from Florida Hospital Waterman to Florida Hospital South where she remains in Critical Care.
April and her husband, Kevin, are pillars of the community and are long standing residents of Tavares. They are also teachers at TES and TMS and together have coached cross country for the past 10 years.
So many have reached out wanting to help and now is your chance.
As you all are aware insurance only covers so much so we are having a 5k Fun Run to help offset medical expenses that they may incur as a result of hospitalization, therapy, and any loss of income.
Thank you all for your support and love for this family.

This 5k event is capped at 400 runners total, so don't wait, sign up today!
The Kids Fun Run is capped at 50.

Day of Race Registration starts at 6:30 a.m.
5K Race starts at 8:00 a.m.
Kids Fun Run (This is a 100 yd dash) starts at 9:00 a.m.
